Seeing Myself As I Am

“The day you see yourself as you are,Pride vs humility 4 you will think it natural to be despised by others.”

                               -St. Josemaria Escriva

For Reflection:

To what extent do I see myself as I am – not embellishing my weaknesses nor excusing them either. How would both of these extremes be a false humility?

The Special Call and Gift of Woman

Because Mary points us to her Son, her appearances are a special outpouring of mercy alerting us that now is the time to accept redemptive grace.  And because she is woman and mother, Mary’s coming suggests that in these days women who follow her example will join her in dispensing the mercy of God to His children by leading them to the One who is Salvation, Jesus Christ.
