An Urgent Call... "For Such A Time As This"

Our nation is in the midst of its own “Battle of Lepanto.” Our temporal order – the institutions and enterprises of man, his culture and his society – has been infiltrated by an anti-life, anti-Gospel, anti-Church agenda.  The “final confrontation” intimated by Karol Cardinal Wojtyla when he addressed the United States Bishops in 1976 seems to have arrived. From Cairo and the Middle East, to Congress and the Senate, to the attack against the union of one man and one woman in marriage, to the proliferation of the morally reprehensible, to the efforts of Planned Parenthood and sex education in our schools, we see the frontal attack of the “Agenda of the Anti-.“ As Women of Grace® “impregnated with the spirit of the gospel” we must respond.

After three years of some of the most anti-religion policies in U.S. history, The Catholic Advocate has launched a  campaign urging President Barack Obama to keep the promises he made at Notre Dame in 2009 and “meet with Catholic leaders to discuss compromise.”

Obama Birthday Card Solicits Donations to DNC

When viewers click on the "sign the card" icon, it directs them to a page asking for donations to the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

White House Scrubs Plans to Repeal DOMA

New Poll: Catholics Overwhelming Oppose Obama Invite to Notre Dame

By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Writer A new Rasmussen poll has found that 60 percent of U.S. Catholics think Notre Dame should obey guidelines issued by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and should refrain from awarding an honorary degree to President Barack Obama at this weekend's commencement ceremonies.
