California's "Pro-Gay Indoctrination" Bill Advances in Same Week that Priest is Accused of "Anti-Gay Indoctrination"

Commentary by Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Journalist In the same week that the California Senate Education Committee advanced a law that will require the state's public schools to rewrite their social science curriculum to promote homosexuality, the chaplain at a private Catholic high school in Indianapolis is being accused of spreading "anti-gay propaganda" for explaining Church teaching on homosexuality in class.

Biotech Company Using Aborted Fetal Cell Lines in Testing

Children of God for Life (COG) is calling for a public boycott of major food companies such as Pepsico, Kraft Foods, Solae, and Nestle who are partnering with Senomyx, a biotech company that produces artificial flavor enhancers using aborted fetal cell lines to test their products.

HR writes: "I live near the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville and I am concerned about a number of Catholics in the area promoting something called 'Kangen Water.'  My husband and I watched the promo video on it and we discerned that it may be not only a scam but connected to New Age or occult beliefs and practices.  There are Catholics around here trying to sell the machines for around $5,000 dollars and the makers claim that it cures just about every illness under the sun.  Some have claimed healings but I think its the placebo affect at work.  Please address this on your blog or your show and help clear the air on this product."
