Bishop Leonard Blair of the Diocese of Toledo has issued a letter to all parishes instructing them to direct their fundraising efforts to local breast cancer centers rather than contribute to the Susan G. The only three abortion clinics in the state of Kansas have been notified by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) that they will be told by July 1, 2011, whether they will be granted licenses to perform abortions under a new law that will impose safety regulations the clinics may not be able to satisfy.

Connecticut lawmakers displayed an appallingly lopsided set of priorities this week when they decided to toss out a bill requiring minors to get parental permission before using tanning parlors rather than allow a pro-life lawmaker to require the same permission for minors seeking an abortion.
