“The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin.… If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors.”
– Pope Pius XI

“Recognize it or not, our life on earth is a warfare (see CCC, 409), and every day and age from the beginning of time tells the story of dour combat with diabolic forces, a war between good and evil. This battle originated in the heavens before the dawn of humanity but was not confined there. It spilled onto the earth, placing all generations of humanity in a perpetual state of general quarters.”
– Johnnette S. Benkovic and Thomas K. Sullivan
