"Gotcha Journalism" Goes Awry: Profoundly Moving E-Mail Found Among Palin Stash

The media frenzy over the release of thousands of e-mails from former Alaska governor Sarah Palin uncovered nothing incriminating but plenty of evidence that she was a hard-working civil servant. McCain Chooses Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as VP

By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Writer Republican presidential candidate John McCain shocked the political world today by choosing the staunchly pro-life Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate. The 44 year old first-term governor is a known reformer who believes marriage should be between a man and woman, supports drilling in ANWR and is a lifetime member of the NRA.
