Dozens of U.S. Senators are calling upon The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to rescind its recent approval of a second generic version of the controversial chemical abortion drug, Mifepristone, to be manufactured by Evita Solutions, a telehealth company whose purported mission is to “normalize abortion” and make it “accessible to all.”

After new research found that the chemical abortion drug, Mifeprex, is 22 times more dangerous than the FDA recognizes, the national prolife group, Americans United for Life i(AUL), has launched a national petition campaign to demand that the Trump administration take action to protect women’s lives.
After a Texas court decided that approval of the abortion pill, mifepristone, was invalid and ordered the drug off the market, an appeals court has decided to temporarily allow access, but is requiring the Food and Drug Administration to restore critical safeguards to chemical abortion drugs while the lawsuit proceeds.
