Hope

"God is not a deceiver that he should offer to support us, and then, when we lean upon Him, should slip away from us." St. Augustine For Reflection: Sometimes God is not readily apparent in our need, so we fear that He is not with us and we place no hope in Him. However, the fact may be that we are not looking for Him hidden in the wrappings of our suffering. Dare we look, we will find Him attentive to our need, patiently providing every grace we need. He desires only that we search and find that He is there and His grace is sufficient. Am I willing to do this today?

SNAP Psychiatrist Sentenced for Child Porn Possession

Dr. Steve Taylor, a Louisiana psychiatrist who has worked with the Survivors Network for those Abused by Priests (SNAP) and tried to convince the Louisiana legislature to allow the confessional seal to broken in sex abuse cases, has been sentenced to two years in prison for possession of child pornography.

Faithful Catholic Educators Are Fed Up With the NCEA

A leading Catholic educator expressed exasperation with the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) for its willingness to feature high-profile, left-wing speakers at its national convention. On the heels of last year's keynote speaker, pro-abortion media icon Garrison Keillor, the NCEA has invited controversial Sr. Helen Prejean to serve in the same capacity this year.

UK Approves Sex Change Drug for 12 Year-Olds
