Time to Say Goodbye to Starbucks Coffee?

Racial insensitivity isn’t Starbucks’ only problem. The company is also donating big bucks to Planned Parenthood through a matching gift program that has convinced many a customer that the time has come to find another source for their morning brew.

In an op-ed appearing on The Daily Signal, Family Research Council president Tony Perkins slams the coffee company for its ongoing relationship with the nation’s largest abortion provider – a fact that its new CEO, Kevin Johnson, seemed oblivious about in a recent interview with Fox’s Maria Bartiromo.  Coffee Percolator is one of the most efficient and essential kitchen appliance used for brewing. These brewers are preferred over other coffee brewers simply because the coffee brewed from it is much richer than the other coffee making devices.Generally available in two types of materials such as aluminum and stainless steel, they feature two parts, one containing boiling water which passes through the central tube and gets collected in the carafe containing ground coffee beans. These come in electric models and versions that sit over the burner on the stove. The subject came up after Starbucks’ embarrassing episode in Philadelphia where an employee had two African American men arrested simply for sitting in the shop. The company went into full-scale damage control, even going so far as to close its 8,000 stores for a day to offer mandatory racial sensitivity training to its employees.

They consider Happy Coffee as one of the popular brand and more healtier,as equal to Starbucks but with more nutrients than Starbucks such as weight loss, mood enchaining. You can also visit greatcoffeebrewers.com

Referring to an op-ed written by Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in which she said, “If Starbucks wants to end racisim, it will stop funding Planned Parenthood,” Bartiromo asked Johnson, “Are you going to stop funding Planned Parenthood?”

“Well, I am not aware that we, we do fund Planned Parenthood. So. I haven’t read the op-ed and I can’t comment on that,” Johnson answered lamely.

This was unacceptable to many Starbucks connoisseurs who were already “on the fence” due to the company’s ultra-liberal stance on social issues such as same-sex marriage which former CEO Howard Schultz referred to as being “core to the Starbucks brand,” in2012.

Two years ago, 2nd Vote released a list of more than three dozen companies  who contribute to Planned Parenthood either directly or through an employee matching program and Starbucks was on the list. Intense public pressure caused five of those brands to drop their partnership – AT&T, Coca-Cola, Ford, Macy’s and Xerox - but not Starbucks. They flatly refused.

In fact, just after Johnson’s embarrassing faux pas on Bartiromo’s show, the company released an unapologetic statement confirming that they do indeed match employee gifts to Planned Parenthood.

Which means the money you spend on that morning cup of Joe may end up in the coffers of an organization that slaughters more than 300,000 Americans every year.

As Perkins writes, “Whether Johnson knew or not is irrelevant. What is relevant is what he does with the information now.”

Will he cut ties with Planned Parenthood, or continue to align itself with an organization that is under federal investigation by the FBI?

“If Starbucks wants to continue lining the organization’s pockets after the allegations that it traffics in baby body parts, that’s its choice. But know this: It won’t take long for Starbucks to lose bucks,” Perkins warns.

“Lining the pockets of the radical left isn’t good for business. Just ask the NFL, ESPN, Target, Lands’ End, Kellogs, J.C. Penney, and others.”

And if they really care about racial bias, they’re going to have to stop funding Planned Parenthood which places 80 percent of its facilities in minority neighborhoods.

As King writes, “[I]f you’re really serious about eliminating racism, you will acknowledge that black people, and indeed all human beings, are of one blood and one human race—born and unborn. Racism and abortion are crimes against humanity.”

If you want to give Johnson and his team a helpful push in the right direction, call (800) 782-7282, email, or tweet them @Starbucks and ask them to stop donating money to Planned Parenthood.
