Read 1 Corinthians 1:28- 29. How do St. Catherine's words reflect this passage from Scripture? How have I seen this to be true in my own life?

Sometimes failure is a sign from God.  This was true for St. Alphonsus Liguori; he was a promising young lawyer, but the loss of an important court case prompted him to give up his legal career and become a priest instead.
