Best known for their series on EWTN and the many books she authored with her husband, Bob, she was surrounded by her family when she passed into eternity at 8:32 p.m. The couple's website is featuring a beautiful image of Jesus holding a painting of Penny with the message, "Penny Lord has gone to the Father."
Bob and Penny Lord have been evangelizing for over 30 years. Together they produced over 200 videos and 20 books celebrating the glories of the Church. The Lords documented their pilgrimages to many Catholic shrines and holy places around the world and visited the hometowns of dozens of saints. Their writings have enriched the lives of millions of Catholics by introducing them to the truths of the faith as well as to far-off locations that many would otherwise never have the opportunity to experience.
She will be sadly missed by Catholics around the world.
Rosary and visitation will take place on Sunday, January 26 at 6:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church in Morrilton, AR. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in the same church on Monday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Holy Family Missions.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
