Vatican: 100,000 Christians Killed Every Year for the Faith

In an address to the United Nation's Human Rights Council in Geneva this week, Archbishop Silvano Tomasi expressed deep concern over the continuing discrimination and systematic attacks upon Christians occurring worldwide which have resulted in the death of more than 100,000 followers of Christ per year.

Catholic Response to Boy Scouts New Policy

Bishop Robert Guglielmone of Charleston, the episcopal liaison of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to the National Catholic Committee on Scouting, says the Church must remain involved with the Boy Scouts to see how the new policy plays out and be willing to take further steps if Church teaching is violated.
