There’s more than one way to strip taxpayer funds from Planned Parenthood. Lawmakers are currently working behind the scenes to revise the country’s Title X Family Planning funding to prohibit these funds from going to any clinic where abortions are performed – which could cost the abortion giant millions in federal funding.
The bloated omnibus budget deal proposed by Congress, and likely to pass this week, will keep the government in funds through September, but it also failed to cut Planned Parenthood’s funding. Why didn’t Congress cut these funds when they had the chance?

President Donald J. Trump, famous for his negotiations skills, made Planned Parenthood an offer on Monday – they can keep their taxpayer funding if they agree to stop performing abortions.
Speaking to campaign contributors at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland on Tuesday, President Barack Obama renewed his support for taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood so that his daughters could "control their own health care choices."
