Vatican Launches “Assessment” of Dissident Women Religious Conference

By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Writer The Vatican has launched another investigation of American nuns, this time focusing on the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR), an organization known for its promotion of the ordination of women and homosexuality, and for its dissent regarding the unique role of Christ in salvation.
