Marian Shrine Spared Ravages of Japanese Quake

By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Journalist The church approved apparition site of Our Lady of Akita, in which Our Lady predicted a number of calamities even worse than the March 11 quake that destroyed parts of Japan, was spared major damage in spite of being located in one of the hardest hit areas of the country.
