Chinese Study Finds Significant Link Between Abortion and Breast Cancer

By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Journalist Chinese researchers are reporting a 17 percent increased breast cancer risk among women who have had an abortion. The study is considered particularly valid because abortion is not stigmatized in China, nor is it connected to abortion ideology and politics.
