Page 23  The correlative of authority is, of course, obedience...The abundance of texts mandating submission to human leaders is summarized in Hebrews 13:17:  "Obey your leaders and do as they tell you." This divine strategy is strikingly seen in the very Son  of the Father.  Though He is Wisdom Incarnate, Jesus received 'spiritual direction' in being subject to Mary and Joseph as he grew in "wisdom, stature, and favour with God and men" (Lk 2:51-52).
