Prayer Breakfast Backlash

Pope Francis’ prayerful greeting at yesterday’s prayer breakfast is being drowned out by a national outcry against President Barack Obama for using inaccurate historical accounts of the Inquisition and the Crusades in an attempt to put Christian violence in the name of religion on the same footing as the atrocities being committed by Islamic extremists such as ISIS and al Qaeda.

EWTN Gets Its Day in Court

A three-judge panel of the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta heard oral arguments yesterday in EWTN’s case against the government’s controversial birth control mandate which requires employer-sponsored health plans to provide full coverage for contraception, abortion inducing drugs and sterilization procedures or face massive fines.
