Lesbian Mayor Subpoenas Pastors' Sermons On Homosexuality

In a chilling example of just how far homosexual activists are willing to go to force people to accept their lifestyle, the city of Houston, which has an openly lesbian mayor, has subpoenaed pastors demanding that they turn over any sermon dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or the mayor. Anyone who fails to comply could be held in contempt of court.

Vatican Bemoans Synod Distortions

Thanks to a combination of irresponsible reporting and the vague language contained in the first document released by the Extraordinary Synod of Bishops, the Vatican was forced to issue a statement yesterday reminding the public that this is just a "working document" and reflects no doctrinal changes in Church teaching.

Cardinal Burke Calls Upon Pope to Clarify Synod Reports

Cardinal BurkeCardinal Raymond Burke, prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, is expressing concern about several aspects of the Synod, including the push for changes in the handling of Communion for divorced and remarried Catholics as well as the way that information about the Synod is being "manipulated".

Twisted Thinking: Enslaving Women Keeps ISIS Fighters from Sin?

According to the latest edition of the terrorist group's propaganda publication, fighters in The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)  are permitted to make sex slaves out of captive "pagan" women because it prevents them from being tempted into sinful sexual conduct with Muslim women.
