There is a lot of buzz about whether or not there will soon be a Covid-19 vaccine.
BA writes: "A friend of mine is training to be a gestalt therapist. Can you clarify if this is new age and if so, why?"Gestalt therapy is a form of humanistic therapy which is a “mental health approach that emphasizes the importance of being your true self in order to lead the most fulfilling life.” Because the New Age is totally “self” centered, some of the practices used in this therapy, such as dream work, can be associated with New Age philosophies which may be introduced by practitioners.

Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows
"Blessed are you, O Virgin Mary; without dying you won the Martyr’s crown beneath the Cross of the Lord."
-Alleluia Verse from today's Holy Mass
Today's Reflection:
How does meditating upon the sorrows of Our Blessed Mother Mary console you during your life's challenges. How does it encourage you in your walk with Our Lord?

"To convert somebody go and take them by the hand and guide them."
-St. Thomas Aquinas
Today's Reflection:
Each soul we meet needs something different from us. Who in your life needs a simple hand of guidance? Ask our Father today to show you how to lead someone to Him!

"But above all preserve peace of heart. This is more valuable than any treasure. In order to preserve it there is nothing more useful than renouncing your own will and substituting for it the will of the divine heart. In this way his will can carry out for us whatever contributes to his glory, and we will be happy to be his subjects and to trust entirely in him."
-St Margaret Mary Alacoque
Today's Reflection:
What do you hold onto in your life that is simply a desire of your own will? What in your life isn't of God, something that isn't God's will? How can you trust Him more today with His will and relinquish your own?

"The fruits of charity are joy, peace, and mercy; charity demands beneficence and fraternal correction; it is benevolence; it fosters reciprocity and remains disinterested and generous; it is friendship and communion: Love is itself the fulfillment of all our works. There is the goal; that is why we run: we run toward it, and once we reach it, in it we shall find rest."
-St. Augustine
Today's Reflection:
Run! Run to Jesus! He, our true Love, is the fulfillment of everything in this world. How is He calling you deeper into friendship with Him at this very minute?

"For I have learnt for a fact that nothing so effectively obtains, retains and regains grace, as that we should always be found not high-minded before God, but filled with holy fear."
-St. Bernard
Today's Reflection:
Falling at the feet of Our Lord is so important, as humility is so necessary in our lives. We are to be filled with this most beautiful holy fear of God, rather than an arrogance in our own prestige. Nothing we do is completed on our own. Let's remember this as we progress in this spiritual journey--all change must flow from our Father's mercy and grace!

"I know well that the greater and more beautiful the work is, the more terrible will be the storms that rage against it."
-St. Faustina
Today's Reflection:
What work is God currently calling you to? Have you experienced any storms as a result?
Lord, prepare our hearts for whatever comes our way. Strengthen us to follow You wherever that path leads!

All of us will be touched by death. We will lose loved ones. Perhaps one parent or both. Perhaps a spouse. Maybe a sibling. A close friend. And one day, we will die.
