The gentle yoke of love

December 21

"... the imitation of Our Lady is the answer; in contemplating her we find intimacy with God, the law which is the lovely yoke of the one irresistible love.”

-Caryll Houselander

Today's Reflection:

During Advent, the Church turns her gaze to Mary, who teaches us how to wait, to trust, and to receive Christ with open hearts. In imitating her surrender and quiet fidelity, we discover that God’s love is not a burden but a gentle yoke that draws us into deeper intimacy with Him.

How is the Lord inviting you to imitate Our Lady as you prepare room for Christ?
