Selfless regard for others

September 29

"A word or a smile is often enough to put fresh life in a despondent soul."

-St. Thérèse of Lisieux

Today's Reflection:

How many times have we been cheered by a smile or a friendly word from someone when we were down in the dumps? Thérèse wanted to make certain she never missed a chance to be a ray of sunshine for someone in need. How can I be a ray of sunshine for someone today?

Little Flower, you were always so thoughtful of others, so willing to put yourself aside in order to make someone smile. Help me to imitate your selfless regard for others with everyone who will cross my path today.
