What do you desire?

February 11

“Why, then, do you wander wide, poor child of earth, in your search after goods for body and soul? Love the One Good, in whom all good things are, and it is enough. For what do you love, O my flesh? What do you desire, O my soul? There it is, there it is: whatever you love, whatever you desire.”

–St. Anselm

Today’s Reflection:

Saint Anselm's words challenge us to consider what we truly seek in life. We often wander in search of fleeting pleasures or worldly achievements, hoping to find fulfillment, but true contentment can only be found in God Himself. When we align our desires with Him, everything we long for will be fulfilled. In loving God above all, we discover the peace and joy that we search for in all things.

What are the desires of your heart, and how can you shift them toward loving and seeking God more fully?
