Women of Grace in Harrisburg PA take the next step in growing closer to the Lord at Morning of Grace event

On Saturday, March 16th, at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a Lenten Morning of Grace was held as an opportunity for women for spiritual growth and holy fellowship.

The morning began with the Rosary, followed by Mass celebrated by Reverend Edward J. Quinlan, and an hour of Eucharistic Adoration.  A delightful brunch facilitated by the church's Council of Catholic Women was enjoyed by all.

Sue Brinkmann, noted Catholic author and Women of Grace staff journalist, spoke on the topic of "Modern and Mortified: Doing Lent in the 21st Century", which provoked many of the women attending to practice an examination of conscience during the Lenten Season. This event was a beautiful opportunity for many women to take the next step in growing closer to the Lord during the liturgical season and build their community of sisters in Christ!
