Imprisonment of Chains

 August 30

There is no doubt that blessed John suffered imprisonment in chains as a witness to our Redeemer, whose forerunner he was, and gave his life for him.

Today's Reflection:

Am I currently experiencing the imprisonment of some “chain” in my life? Am I willing to unite this “chain” to the passion of Christ as a witness to the redemptive power of grace?
