Judge Rules Against School District’s “One-Sided Censorship” of Religion

Spanish Bishops Won’t Excommunicate King for Signing Abortion Law

By Susan Brinkmann, OCDS Staff Journalist A day after Spain’s Parliament narrowly approved a law easing long-standing restrictions on abortion, the head of the Spanish bishops’ conference said they would take no action against Catholic King Juan Carlos for signing the bill, as he is required to do by law.

Fr. Pavone Calls for Burial of Fetuses Found in Freezer

Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, said today that the 24 bodies of dead babies found in the freezer of a Philadelphia abortion clinic should be given a reverent burial as soon as possible, and that this should be a public event in which people can mourn the loss of these lives.
