WGR10564 - Life-Changing Strategies of a Catholic Therapist, Part 5

9/20/2013

(Program 10564)
Guest: Monica Breaux , Ph.D.

Emotions can be great barometer. When functioning according to God’s plan, they warn us of impending danger and work with the gift of discernment. However, due to original sin, emotions can also be detrimental.

They can effect our perception, imprison us in suppositions, harden our heart, and ruin and destroy relationships and us in the process. Are there strategies that we can employ to use the gifts of our intellect and will to gain control of the emotions? To direct them to the good, the true, the holy? To mitigate the deleterious effects of original sin and bring us to healing, wholeness, and new life?

Here to answer these questions and give us direction and guidance is our guest, Dr. Monica Breaux, an award winning social worker and therapist.
