Sexual union has two goods, two natural functions, so too speak : spousal unity and procreation. The sexual revolution of the 60’s sought to turn this truth on its head with the notion that sexual union is purely for the purpose of obtaining personal pleasure and satisfaction.

And, in this our day and time, it is this notion of sexual union that holds sway in our cultural consciousness. But does consumer sex work? Does it lead to pleasure and satisfaction?
