One of our guests today writes this in her book for widows, "Jesus does have the power to lift you, in a time suitable to your own temperament, up to a new level of the Spirit, where your joy in him will be fuller." Packaged somewhere in the painful wrappings of her loss, a widow can find joy and hope and peace. Soon enough, the sun again rises in her heart and the promise of Revelation 21:5 starts to be fulfilled: "Behold, I make all things new."
