Today is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima and Catholics throughout the world are honoring the Blessed Mother under this title. On May 13, 1917, she began appearing to three shepherd children in the Cova da Iria in Fatima, Portugal and continued to do so until October of that same year. Over the six apparitions, she entrusted to the children three secrets that had great import for the world at that time and, as we have come to see, for the world in the future as well.
