It has been said that the one grief for which there is no healing is the loss of a child. And it is true. A child pre-deceasing his parents is not in the natural order of things. And when such a death occurs it is a rupture, a tearing asunder of what should have been and what is no longer. However, in the midst of suffering and pain, there is hope. Today, we’ll begin a discussion about the special realities surrounding the death of a child and how it is that hope is an anchor that holds one firm.
