You remember the story of Pentecost. The apostles are gathered in the Upper Room along with the Blessed Mother and some of the holy women. When suddenly there came a sound from the sky like a strong driving wind which filled the room where they were gathered. Tongues as of fire appeared to them, rested on each one of them, and they were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.  The Paraclete, whom Jesus promised had come, and they were forever changed.  Signs and wonders followed them beginning with the three thousand baptisms that took place that day. Does the Holy Spirit still fill His people with power? Can you receive a fresh outpouring? Do miracles still happen? “You bet ‘cha,” is the answer to all three.
