Time and again through his writings and his words, he affirmed woman’s dignity and value, her role in God’s plan of salvation, and her influence and power in the society of man. All of this comes by way of the feminine genius, said the Pope, a term he used to express those innate characteristics of the female person that are hers by way of her gender.
