Jennifer Hubbard could never imagine that the last time she would see her precious six-year-old daughter was the morning she put her on the school bus to go to her neighborhood elementary school. But it was. Just after 9:30 AM on December 14, 2,012, a twenty-year-old man shot his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School, and subsequently killed twenty children and six educators, before taking his own life. One of the victims was Jennifer’s daughter, first-grader Catherine Violet Hubbard, a sweet little girl with bright red hair that paled only in comparison to her love for animals and zest for life. Jennifer will share with us the story of her loss and her own personal journey from tragedy to triumph, horror to hope.
