Vicki Thorn is with us today and we’re going to be talking about the birth control pill. Despite its wide use since the 1960s, the pill has been fraught with problems throughout its history. Most of its physical side effects have been well-known and well-documented. But there are other side-effects lesser-known and rarely discussed some of which are physical and some of which are not. Here to tell us about it all is our guest, Vicki Thorn. Vick is the founder of Project Rachel, an officially sanctioned ministry run by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and in more than 25 additional countries worldwide. She is a member of the Pontifical Academy for Life and the 2020 recipient of the Notre Dame Evangelium Vitae Medal. Let’s welcome Vicki Thorn.
