Perhaps one of the most significant roles that the Blessed Mother plays in the life of the Church and her people is that of Mediatrix. In times of confusion, difficulty, strife, and impending doom, Mary comes as Mother and offers to her children the sweet unction of the Holy Spirit. In this moment of uncertainty and peril, she once again is offering us the grace of God and her motherly beatitude.
