Hello everyone and welcome to Women of Grace. I’m Johnnette Williams.

Make no mistake about. God has an incredible mission in mind for women today, and why wouldn’t He? Throughout salvation history to the present day, God has turned to His daughters to accomplish great feats in times of distress and travail. We have only to consider Deborah the prophet, Jael, Judith, Queen Esther, the mother of the Maccabees, and of course, the greatest woman of them all, Miriam or Mary, the mother of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

So, too, Church history is studded with valiant daughters of God who have done the same: Perpetua and Felicity, Catherine of Siena, Joan of Arc, Quiteria, St. Teresa of Calcutta, Mother Angelica, to name a few. And, in this moment, God has cast His sovereign eye upon you.

Yes, you. In this Women of Grace series, our guest will share with us why woman is God’s chosen instrument, what her mission is, the challenges she needs to overcome, and how she cooperates with His grace to get the job done. Today is Part 1 of Women, Wounds, and the Power of God.
