From the outside looking in, even for many Catholics, Church teaching on marriage seems rigid and outmoded.

The four No’s – No divorce, no contraception, no invitro fertilization, and no sexual union that ends in acts intrinsically infertile – may well sound harsh and archaic to the contemporary ear. And yet, our guest, a convert from Calvinism to Catholicism, says it is precisely the Church’s teaching on marriage that transformed his marital union from a living hell to a slice of heaven.

Here to share his journey with us is our guest, Dr. David Anders. He is the EWTN radio show host of Called to Communion. A father of five children, he and his wife Susan had their marriage convalidated in the Catholic Church in 2007, after having been married for 15 years.
