Our guest was a theater major at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a promising future in the entertainment industry. An actor, singer, and dancer, he was well-liked and popular, with a trajectory that seemed headed for the stars.

And then, the inconceivable happened. He was put to an excruciating test and found himself in a crucible of suffering, profound disappointment, and shattered dreams.
