Trials and sorrows, tribulations and sadness. We also have moments of joy and happiness, levity and love, well-being and contentment.

And just as this mix of realities are ours in the midst of the activity of life exteriorly, so too, are they present in the inner confines of our being, that part of ourselves called the interior life.
