As I write in the introduction of the book I co-authored with Thomas K. Sullivan, The Rosary: Your Weapon for Spiritual Warfare, I don’t remember the first time I saw a Rosary, but I think it must have been in the hands of my Gram Simon.

She had thirteen grandchildren and prayed a Rosary a day for each one of us.

In my estimation, it was her Rosaries that saved me from the poor decisions of my college days, encouraged me in the early years and not so early years of parenting, and strengthened me when I lost my son and then my husband.
