Of the 25 students gathered on the Chi Rho retreat weekend at the Ark and the Dove retreat center outside of the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in mid-February, 1967, 18 received what is called the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
What is it? Why is it? And what does it do? Here to answer those questions for us is Patti Gallagher Mansfield, one of the first of those18 students to experience this outpouring of the Holy Spirit in contemporary times.
For the past 50 years, Patti has traveled tirelessly throughout the world bearing witness to the grace of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as a speaker, author, and active laborer in the Renewal’s vineyard.
