One saint-in-the-making lamented that he would make greater progress in union with God if he would just remove all of these pesky people from his life! While this most likely causes us to smile to greater or lesser extent, we can all relate to this sentiment.

We all have individuals who trouble us or just plain grate on our nerves altogether. But, could it be that these very people are meant to be blessing to us – to be the occasion of sanctity for us?
