It is nearly a gross understatement to say we are facing unprecedented challenges today. The state of affairs nationally and internationally could keep us awake at night if we lacked hope and confidence in God.

But, even given that, when the challenges press down on those we love most, it is a particular kind of suffering that may have us up long before the sun comes up.

The attack against the family is virulent and I daresay there is nary a family that hasn’t felt its impact in some way.

Today, Sister Ann Shields will tell us how we can make intercession and stand in the gap as we pray for family, friends, and the world at large.
