From the Cross, our Lord gave to us His Blessed Mother. This was no insignificant action. Through it, He is telling us that every spiritual beatitude of Our Lady is ours by divine bequest.

As the Queen Mother, Jesus being the King of Kings, she acts on our behalf as intercessor, advocate, and mediatrix of the riches of the Kingdom, which, in the case of eternal realities, are graces.

From the very earliest of Church history, we find her in this role, acknowledged by the apostles and those who followed.
