Grieving can be a tricky business. Especially given today’s culture where grieving is perceived as a private matter, lack of tears as strength, and getting back to business as quickly as possible a badge of honor.

While this is the case in general, it is most definitely the case for those who have experienced abortion. Their grief is one that the culture refuses to recognize at all. It is an invisible and forbidden suffering and may well lead to what is called complicated or pathological grief.
