Event Speakers

  • Johnnette Benkovic Williams

    Johnnette Benkovic Williams is Founder and President of Women of Grace®, a Catholic apostolate for women featuring a number of outreaches including conferences, media, study groups and more.

    After years of being a non-practicing Catholic, Johnnette experienced a deep conversion back to her Catholic faith in 1981. Her conversion sparked a new vocation: sharing the Gospel message through the utilization of media. She has been an inspiring and consistent presence on EWTN Catholic radio and EWTN Catholic television for over 30 years.
  • Father Peter John Cameron, O. P.

    Father Peter John Cameron, O.P., was ordained a Dominican priest in 1986. He grew up in Vernon, Connecticut. He holds a Licentiate in Sacred Theology with a concentration in New Testament theology from the Dominican House of Studies, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in playwriting from the Catholic University of America. He is an award-winning playwright, and the founder and artistic director of Blackfriars Repertory Theatre in New York City. From 1994 until 2018 Fr. Cameron taught homiletics at four seminaries: St. Joseph's Seminary—Dunwoodie, New York; Immaculate Conception Seminary, Huntington, New York; the Dominican House of Studies, Washington, DC; and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. From 2001 to 2003, Fr. Cameron was the spiritual director of the Neumann Hall pre-theology seminary program at Dunwoodie. Fr. Cameron is the author of ten books, including The Classics of Catholic SpiritualityWhy PreachMysteries of the Virgin MaryMade for Love--Loved by GodNovenas for the Church Year, and Jesus Present Before Me. He served two terms as the director of preaching for his Dominican province. Fr. Cameron is the founding editor-in-chief of Magnificat, where he worked from 1998-2018. Fr. Cameron now serves as the director of formation for Hard as Nails Ministries, a national evangelization apostolate.

     

     

  • Samantha Kelley

    Samantha is the Founder and current President of FIERCE Athlete Inc. She played Division 1 Soccer at UConn, and is currently involved in competitive rowing. She has spent the last 8 years working for Catholic nonprofits and outreaching to female athletes. She recently graduated with a Masters in Catholic Psychology and is currently pursuing Certification in Strength & Conditioning and Theology of the Body. It was actually through the teachings of Theology of the Body and the Catholic Church that she has discovered what it means to be both feminine and athletic. These teachings have the power to heal and through FIERCE Athlete she desires to share those truths with female athletes across the world.

  • Kathleen McCarthy

    Kathleen McCarthy is a published author, Catholic radio broadcaster, and has been a Catholic lay evangelist for over 40 years. She is the President of In His Sign Catholic Radio. Kathleen has traveled across the country and internationally as a sought after Conference Presenter. She has been a guest on many television and radio programs including EWTN and is a Retreat Director at the Malvern Retreat House. Kathleen has been involved in healing ministry for over four decades. Her message of the Father’s merciful love, the Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist and the power of the Holy Spirit are central to the doctrines of the Catholic Church. Kathleen’s willingness to share her faith and wisdom has established her as a dynamic instrument for proclaiming God’s Word.
