Young Women of Grace - Dare to Prepare: An Advent Retreat for Teen Girls, Watertown, NY

The Young Women of Grace “Dare to Prepare” retreat is a day of Advent reflection for teen girls ages 13+ that includes Mass, confessions, social time, games, and a very special Christmas craft/gift.

Mary Dillenback, co-developer of Young Women of Grace: Embrace Your Femininity, will give two presentations: “Say Hello to Emmanuel – the God With You” which teaches girls how to practice the presence of God in their everyday lives, and; “The ‘Yes’ That Changed the World” which explains Mary’s role in the Redemption and the critical role women play in the world today through the gift of their unique feminine genius.

Dayna Leader, Family Life Associate for Marriage Preparation and Enrichment will also address the girls with a talk entitled, “Dare to Prepare For Your Future Spouse.” This day includes a light breakfast, pizza for lunch, and lots of homemade Christmas cookies & treats!

(Parents: Please sign the photo release form permitting Women of Grace to publish photos of this event on their website. Also, if your child has a food allergy, please pack a light breakfast and lunch for her—Gluten free pizza will be available.)

Cost: $10 per person includes retreat materials, continental breakfast, and lunch. (A generous benefactor has subsidized the registration for this event.)
