The liturgical season of Lent is upon us. A penitential season, it offers us the opportunity to focus our attention on the great gift of our salvation and the redemptive love of Our Lord Jesus Christ that bought it for us.

During this season, we enter into the passion of Christ by way of meditation, and we seek to make His passion our own through mortification and sacrifice.

This week on Women of Grace, we discover the grace of this season, the effect of the grace it offers, and how we can be conformed to it more and more. For our spiritual director, we will turn to Mother Teresa of Calcutta whose own life’s witness marks the path to union with Christ through His passion, death, and resurrection.
