Johnnette Benkovic has lost her beloved husband and also her beloved son. She identifies what is really at the heart of this question. Johnnette speaks from her heart and her reflection in reply to Lucy will surprise you. Later, listener Becky calls in with tears. She cannot forgive her brother—who has been using her as a punching bag. She has had to put him in jail and she is afraid God is not hearing her prayers because of that. Johnnette takes her by the hand and gives her advice to assure her safety and survival. What about God’s love and forgiveness?
